I wasn’t sure if I should post this under the wanted section or not. I am in the market for a 1917. Hope to buy in the next couple weeks. Looking for one in good condition with a good bore as I plan to shoot it vs keeping as a wall hanger. Figured I would see what is out there locally before I tried the auctions.

    Thanks all!

    Where they send me.
PM sent. This is nicely done and would be a good shooter/hunting rifle. Understand wanting original. However, I would be less inclined to hunt with a nice original one and they are going to cost 2-3 times more than a sporterized one.

While I don't have one for sale, I do own a M1917, and I love the way it shoots - beautiful weapon! Best of luck in your search and I will keep my ears open and let you know if I hear of any local deals available in the near term.

Appreciate that. Great weapons. I will get one at some point. Working on a few others now. So many guns and not enough money, lol.

Great rifle overall, but weak ejector. Make sure you have a spare handy, you'll probably need it someday. Plan on collecting one from each manufacturer by the time you're done.

I sold a very nice Eddystone on GB for 900 about 65-70 days ago, well the guys payment got lost in the mail and we had to wait 60 days for him to be able to get the money back from USPS. I talked to him the other day and he informed me that his cancer was back and asked if he could just pay me for the auction cost which i agreed. If you are interested shoot me a Pm

I really want one but also looking at several arisakas. Torn at the moment and of course Christmas right around the corner. Bad timing for my wallet all around. I will be in touch if that changes, if that’s ok.
