Remington 1187 Broken Bolt

A buddy has a Remington Super Mag that he uses for goose hunting and part of the bolt cracked and broke off. Doing a little research this is not uncommon for these guns and is likely one of the reasons they discontinued them. I've done some searching online and I haven't found a new or used replacement yet.

Does anyone have any ideas were a new bolt may be found? Remington doesn't offer the part any more.

11-87's had a history of cracked bolts. I never liked that gun and I never saw a cracked 1100 bolt in over 40 years of gunsmithing.

You can try Gun Parts Corp and Jack First off the top of my head. Also try tacticalslings.com. I think they had them at one time.

I was looking at things on brownells and I think they had this part. They may have as a full assembly or just the bolt. Don’t recall the price. At the very least, worth checking out

Thanks everyone,

I've checked all of the suggestions and they either don't carry the magnum version or are out of stock.

I'll keep searching but so far it doesn't look good.

Thanks, it looks like they don't carry the super mag bolt and all 12 gauge bolts are out of stock.
