Two weeks ago, it started the life as Marlin 1894 CST, I went to a different approach: "Modern Urban Rifle"

Looks like it's from a movie like Bonzai Buckaroo or something similar.
How did you attach the handgaurd?

Just picked up my first lever gun. It is used but in immaculate condition. A Marlin 1895SBL in 45-70. It is waiting for a Mason leather cartridge cuff and sling, and a vortex diamondback 1.75-5x32 scope.

Very nice. I’m trying to decide if my next will be the model you bought or the new TSBL.

Nice score! Another option on the butt cuff is Diamond D. They are extremely high quality plus they hold one more round.

Here is the one I picked up installed on my 1895G

If I were you, I would scoop up whichever you found first. These 1895SBL are hard to find right now.

There is another model I would love to have but the pricing is insane on them. The model is the STP and they only made 500 of them. Factory 16” stainless with fiber optic sights and laminate stocks. Very nice.

    I’m leaning to the TSBL.

Who needs all these doodads? Time for something from 1890. It belonged to my father-in-law.

I've posted this rifle before, but it's time for the hardcore stuff.

Don’t think I have ever posted this one. Marlin 1894 pre safety in 357 Mag. I LOVE this rifle. Many have tried to buy it, don’t think I would ever sell it.

The only doo dads it has is a WWG happy trigger and a previous owner drilled the stock and added a new front band to mount a sling. I still have the factory parts.

    1 year ago I didn't own a lever gun.

    Today
    50279273893_6807434130_b.jpg

Top to bottom, order I got them:
Marlin 1895 GBL in .45-70 Government. Bought it used here. It's really a handful! Quite a kick to it.

Henry Big Boy .357 Magnum. Really a fun gun to shoot. Very accurate and almost no recoil.

Henry Big Boy .44 Magnum. Got this (mostly) due to a Wal Mart close out smoking deal. Just cleaned it and mounted the scope today for maiden outing this weekend.
