they don't have to...a not so secret secret in OC is that there are LPRs (license plate readers for non LEOs) installed in all 3 entrances to OC. They know every vehicle that enters and exits town..

Eastbound traffic on the Bay Bridge has been funky lately.

There has been some repair work from time to time, closing one lane and creating backups as if it was summer. Problem is, the one time we went over in those conditions, there was NO EASTBOUND LANE open on the north span.

This only happens out of incompetence, or on orders.

And now Delaware’s Carney has EXTENDED his directives until 1 June and cancelled all activities until after 4 July! Directed all beaches STAY closed and no dog walking, walking or exercising on the beach permitted now.

I was in West OC yesterday. The travel information signs in the middle of 50 indicated 14 day quarantine for out of state people.
Plenty of road work going on at rt 50 old bridge rd 611 area.
I heard Carney was upset that the beaches in OC would be open but not in DE.
Pizza to go came out and delivered to the jobsite at the docks on Sunset, it was pretty good. Lot of repair work happening on the conch and scallop boats.

I have always wondered about the differences between DE coast and MD coast about the makeup of Hotels, 2nd Homes and Weekly Rental/Condo & rental Homes.
OC Mayor has the Hotel and Rental Companies (CBVACATIONS.COM being the bigger rental agency) in his ear. Sure seems like there are more homes than Hotels in DE.

I think DE Gov Carney is more upset that people are not traveling on the highway paying tolls.

DE infection rate is slightly higher than MD and PA but way less than NJ.

You know years ago OC and the De beach area were such a nice place to go and hang out, swim do some fishing etc.
It’s still a nice place but politics and overcrowding ruin everything.
My buddy told me when he worked for the Eastern Shore Public service commission they used to go down there and pull all the seasonal meters and take them back to Salisbury for the winter.
Now you can only do electrical distribution projects in the winter unless it’s an outage or restoration work because it’s a disruption to the public and the town still bitches about that.

Well, the OC Mayor (Meehan) is a realatard. An CBVACATIONS is who he works for. You'll find his car at Coldwell Banker at 6405 Coastal Hwy more then anyplace else besides a bar (pre-COVID). His Mayor job is part time. OC has been run by realtors for years.

Good thing I think .. Let the place die and maybe it will be eventually re-born as something worth a damn. I grew up there in the 70's and 80's..It was great back then. Now it's a socialist dump run by left wingers and RINO corrupticons. It by design now attracts the worst of the tourists..

Sunshine is the best thing for the germs. And they said the same thing about Wisconsin when they had their Primary 3 weeks ago and nothing happened. Same with all the spring breakers in Fl back in March, because if the MSM could have, even loosely tracked any sort of spike to them they would have. But nothing just crickets.
