And if Biden win? There will be a lot of scrap metal for sale. Make sure you know who to vote come November the 3rd.

Record Numbers of Americans Try to Buy Guns

Among the new buyers are people who say they never thought they would own a firearm and were previously critical of those who did.

John Kingdon, 42, has marched and signed petitions for gun control, spurred by the 2012 mass shooting at a movie theater in Colorado and another at a gay nightclub in Orlando in 2016. But in May, the registered Democrat who lives in the Denver area bought a Sig Sauer P320 semiautomatic pistol online for around $550.

“If I had a hard time getting police to respond to me when we weren’t in a pandemic, what about now?” he said.

I noticed how the article makes sure to mention that he bought the gun online, you know the way that all those evil criminals get them.

I did my part this evening :)

Just a basic Henry H001 (I already have a golden boy). Eventually W-M is going to stop selling firearms, figured I'd get the 'experience' of buying a gun @ wallyworld before its gone :rolleye12 Counter guy was cool, manager was fine. They were both surprised @ how quickly the 4473 cleared.

There are three rifles/pcc I want but nobody has an idea of when they will come around and my local guy didnt have anything I wanted. Saw the Henry sitting in the case on monday, decided today if it was still there I was going to get it.

I also got a Henry H001 at my local Walmart yesterday. My experience was horrible! Counter guy was fine but uneducated, manager was not helpful and misinformed on many things. To many other things to even go into. ......

Took it out today, was dissapointed. Everything grouping to the right, visually I can see the back sight is off. Feeling the dovetail confirms sight is off center. I will need to spend some time adjusting and getting to know it but hope our relationship gets better.

I've been wanting one for a while now, just disappointed.

My liberal cousin from NJ mentioned that he is going through the steps required to purchase a handgun. Funny how that happens.

    Unpopular Opinion:
“And if Biden wins?” And the dems take control of the government,
HR 5717, and others will eventually pass, sooner or later.

And people like me, who don’t have the financial resources to pay to jump through the hoops of obtaining a federal license or increased insurance, will also have some scrap metal, and ammo to rid of.

    OK, flame away!
    I’m outta here.

Henry has great customer service. If you are not happy, send it back.

So honestly, what did you really expect from Walmart? If you went in there for some expert firearms purchase advice, I truly feel bad for you.
For the other, take a brass or nylon drift and tap the rear sight at the dovetail base in the direction you need to point of impact to go. Or, check with "Brad" at Walmart... He might have some ideas.

I would be willing to guess that "Brad" would not have a clue as to which direction a sight should be moved in order to shift the point of impact.:sad20:

Didn't expect expert advice, but I'm silly and expect a general minimum level of brain activity. But what do I know.....

Another case for the antis biased reporting.

The headline reads "Blocked gun sales skyrocket amid coronavirus pandemic" and the story makes it sound like masses of prohibited persons are buying guns because of the volume of sales. But when you increase the numbers of NICS checks you should expect the number of denials to also increase which shows the system is working. Here is a link:

We (I work PT for Scott's Gunsmithing) not only had our initial rush of first time buyers, but we saw those first timers go out and get their HQL and return to make handgun purchases. I have several customers who have recently purchased their first few firearms over the last few months.

I've avoided Politico ever since I saw their heavy lefward tilt during the 2016 elections.

There's plenty of mind poison around; I don't go looking for it any more.

Politico leans pretty hard left. They wouldn't report anything they can't tilt the headline the way they want to fit the narrative. Critical thinkers see right through what they're doing...the useful idiots slurp it right up.

Curious, did you get a feel for how many were anti and are now interested in gun rights vs "I got mine"?

Purchased a Windham AR and delivery was made to my FFL on Friday. I went to seal the deal on Saturday filling out the paperwork. He submitted the Info to the feds and it came back delayed. Two days later, Monday pm, he tells me it is still in delay mode. Can it be released after 4 days if the approved has not been received?
