I purchased this years ago and am wondering what the heck it is. Obviously an AK flat of some sort but not sure what country, etc. A 7.62 AK mag doesn’t seem to fit but a 5.45 mag seems to fit well (pictured) so maybe it’s an AK74? I think it’s an underfolder based on those holes? Don’t worry, I know I can’t do anything with it but I’d still like to learn a little bit about it.

    That's an odd one.

The "slots" on the sides for the front trunnion would be for one of the RPK-inspired AKs, likely a Yugoslavian.

    Definitely an underfolder.

Based on magazine well size I'm going to say it's for an M95. The Yugoslavians never embraced 5.45 but there were some 5.56 kits imported, and flats made for them.

Oh wow, it might be 5.56!?! I didn’t see that coming.
