      Are 7.62 and .308 the same round?

      What is the difference/ Are the actually the same round measured in Metric and English measurements? Are the rounds different from what an AK-47 uses? I am considering a .308 for deer hunting and because I have heard it can be used for larger game.

      308REPR At 100

      Worked the AR308 out today and it went without a hitch. I'm getting used to the stock and can get the same check-weld most every time and almost no recoil. No FTFs or any miss-fires. Scope is incredible. This is the best six round group I could get. Done with a cooled down gun with 200 rounds...
