I purchased a Creeworks 22L ultrasonic cleaner and measures 19.5" and 11.5 " on the inside. Already used it to clean my Wifes grandfather's pipe dies as a test. They are over 100 years old and just as sharp as a new set. Used plastic bags with cleaning solution in them and dropped them in the clean distilled water. 30 minutes later with heat they look purdy. The solution in the bags was nasty, and black like coal.

I have several 1-gallon containers with range pick up I can clean several buckets at one time now. Going to use the same method by putting the cases in i gallon plastic bags with the cleaning solution in the bags. Then drop them into the clean distilled water. This way I can save the clean distilled water for reuse. I use the water from my dehumidifier which in all actuality is the same as distilled. I have a 5-gallon container to store the distilled water in. The ultrasonic cleaner has a 3/8" ball drain valve. Going to head to the hardware store for fittings to attach a drain hose to make easier to drain. Had to rearrange my loading bench to make room.

That looks like the Cadillac of cleaners. I have the Hornady one sitting next to it and it looks tiny.

A friend has a musical instrument repair shop. He has a huge ultrasonic tank big enough to put a tuba in. I think it is time to talk cleaning.

Looks awesome! Where did you get it and what did it cost?
AMAZON sells them 270 bucks delivered. I have been looking for a while and settled for the Creeworks. I met a bike mechanic who uses his to clean motorcycle parts and has not had any issues with his. He uses it constantly cleaning bike chains, carbs, sprockets and a verity of other parts.

Did my first batch of 1 gallon buckets of 40 cal range find and even did my old bugle which was pretty ratty. The water was getting dirty but still useable. Also, trying it on some antique bottles and will follow up.

    Follow-up on old bottles.
When I was in the USCG a lifetime ago the old sailors sad," when you go to refresher training in Guantanamo, CU (REFTRA) watch out for the one eyed Indian". I never knew what they were talking about and had been to REFTRA several times until I was stationed there. I spent several years there as a Senior Rider training Navy, USCG Cutters and NATO ships. I met a Navy guy who was a diver and had some real nice finds and we became good friends. I was also a diver, and he was retiring and decided to show me his haunts where he found stuff.

The bottle shown is beer that was made by Bacardi called Hatuey between the 30s and 50s. Notice on the front is a one eyed Indian so I finally found out what they meant.

The other is a Coke bottle bottled in CU in the late 30s.

I have quite a collection of bottles from CU dating from the 30s to 50s. T

Very nice setup!! Curious would this be suitable for glass insulators ? My grandfather worked for B&O then Chessie System . Over the years he amassed a collection.

You can clean the glass insulators as long as they are not the real old, glazed pottery type typically brown. You can clean just about anything except pooris materials. I have an old B&O pocket watch FOB, and some of the old carnival glass insulators the orange ones.
