As nice as the weather has been this past week in Garrett County, with over 2" of rain in the forecast over the next two days it looks like we'll get swamped.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH
    TUESDAY MORNING...

The good news is we have the high ground and the deluge will run downhill quickly. But heavy rain may put out some fuses on firework celebrations many of the "visitors" to the Deep Creek area had in mind. We'll see...

It also means the likelihood of me having to get out the paint brushes, rollers and buckets of stain to tackle the dreaded task of refinishing our deck is very low. I'm OK with that. The range we Hooligans frequent has a roof that doesn't leak... ;)

    Stay safe and dry!
