Hey MDS- I am a fairly new member, been mostly lurking and learning. I am in the process of building a AR-15 with a recently purchased stripped lower from Palmetto State Armory.
Wanted to solicit some opinions on stocks. I think I want to go with either a Magpul CTR, STR or ACS-L. What's your preference?
Is there really that big of a difference between the commercial and the Mil Spec?
I like the look of the STR and the ACS-L but can't immediately think of what I would need the storage capability for.
Also- has anyone used the new Gen 2 Magpul PMags with the window? Experienced any problems with dirt or anything getting in the magazine?
