I am looking at buying an AirForce Talon Pistol and am still gathering info. I want it to replace my Marauder Pistol as, except for being a single shot, it does everything the Prod does only it does it with more punch.

I am not too worried about it not being a repeater as I usually do head shots and nothing walks away from them.

I only have one AF airgun, a Texan in .45. It heavy but shoots good. To me it is built well and has a good warranty.

I've shot turkey and deer with it. I just updated it with a new valve and bottle. Increased energy by 50%. It now generates 600 ft lb. Can't wat to try it on something.

Oh it's positively not "recoiless" (one word meaning no recoil), but "recoil less", as in recoils less than a centerfire. It's 400 to 600fpe. Remember that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.
Since you jumped in here, I had a question for you.
If I use the Ring Lock Valve kit and put a smaller orifice on the TalonP, would I be able to use a Sumo instead of buying a Ronin or more? Around the house I don't need full power and I don't really want to drop $185 on another air gun moderator.

    John,
I don't know much about the AF line, but I did own a .457 Texan for a short time. I do know that the TalonP valve is the hottest one. If you use a valve from the regular Talon it will reduce the power. The Sumo should be plenty of sound suppression I would think.

Since you had yours, they have this kit made by Talontunes that has five top hats with five different sizes. They make the TalonP more versatile. I was never interested in AirForce guns because they didn't have fast second shot capability. Now that I know more about them, I wish I had bought one years ago.
