What is the difference between Hammer Forged and Button Swaged Barrels?

Hammer forged barrels are basically squished by hammers around a mandrel as it is pushed through the bore to form the rifling. Button swaging is the process where the rifling is cut into the barrel blank by dragging a cutting tool through the barrel cutting each lan deeper and deeper with each pass.

CHF barrels are usually known for their durability and bullton rifled barrels for their consistent accuracy.

To show you the work Chad did on mine, the pictures don't convey it well. In person it is damn short looking.

Indianna Jones: That looks like a sweet rifle.

So I have my barrel choice down to between the CMMG 14.5" M4 w/ factory pinned A2 flash hider, and the Daniel Defense 16" M4 complete barrel.

Not sure which to go with as I can (and plan to) get the LPK and BCG from the same company I buy the barrel from. Does anyone have any experience with either of these and can recommend either over the other?

I have a CMMG 14.5" upper on one of mine, it works, it came with bcg and charging handle. It was pretty light until I put the Aimpoint on it, and the rear MBUS, but it's way shorter than my 18" barreled shotgun and my 18" Win 94. No issues with it.
