I have been using their scopes since the introduction of the SH 4 line, and I have always thought they were good for the money. You can likely find a vortex for a price similar to the EP5 line too. Just food for though.

Do you mean Arken? Very good mid-tier brand. They have a very loyal following too. I don’t own any but I’ve peeped thru a couple and shot one a few times. Seemed very nice to me.

They’re great for the money. Had to send the first one back. Reticle would cant when you moved the mag ring. They replaced it & second was GTG. Have it on a 22 bolt gun.
Like it enough that I ordered a second.

Don’t bother with their mounts. There junk.
Caps are decent.

For frame of reference I’ve got much better optics. Leica, Vortex Razors, Burris XTR3’s, Steiner TX6 etc.

The EP5 mil reticle is excellent IMO. Might be the best reticle for a scope in that price range & glass while not top tear is pretty damn good for what it is.

I've got a SH4 4-16X50 GEN2 FFP on my 308 Ruger American and love it. The zero stop is great it's been rock solid on the arken rings.
