Never heard of the soft bolt issue and my bolt has never failed. Sears were supposedly improperly heat treated in the run-up to the cutoff. I replaced mine with a new sear as a preventative and haven't had a problem.

Zmags solve all mag problems. M10/9 walther mags > all single feed M11 mags.

I had several that had either soft bolts and some times sears. Had to reharden them after I squared them up again. They would run away when it happened . Not a good thing when you weren't expecting it.I sold more than a few of them in my day. I remember when they were $199.00 each lol. . Glad they worked out there quirks. Also like the new uppers with the slower cycle rate.
