Thanks. I ordered some just to play with new rifle. After all the running around and Walmart scavenging I have been doing I probably am making out big time with this price. Last time I checked these damn gas prices arent real cheap either.

They had AE223 55gr fmj earlier in the week for 9.99 in stock. by the time I ordered 400 rds, the email I received said back ordered and website said out of stock. (so no reason for me to post it) However it was on my doorstep Friday afternoon. So at least some is trickling in.

i heard from the Walmart Gun guy where I live today that the Remington plant that was hit by the hurricane in Jersey was tooling back up for 223. He pointed out the price of 4.59 per box on the shelf and asked what do you think they will charge for that. I told him I could wait until it was back down to that. I don't need to fire my 223 anytime soon. Sure wish we some 22LR though.

So I hadn't heard we lost a ammo plant and I think its great that a major manufacturer is coming back on line.
