This is a neat project that has been on going for a few years. Here's a video of one of Mom's cousins (1st cousin 1x removed for me) being interviewed. His military history is interesting.

Yes sir. He grew up on a farm in Miller's Station with 10 brothers and sisters.

At least part of his story got told to be remembered.

My grandfather didn't seem to want to tell his story besides some short stories here and there. The problem is besides the medals and awards no one will know now.

The lesson learned...ask ask ask and hope they tell you.
