    I saw one of those car shows the other day going on in a parking lot. Looked like people there were willing to let anybody with the cash come in and buy a car, no background check and no questions asked. I yelled at them to "think of the children" but they didn't care. Don't those people know that my right to a false sense of nanny-state security trumps their rights to do anything that bothers me?

    Then the worst part of the day came. Some guy came in and spent $10K on a restored Fiero. I wept. How I wept.

    what do you have against fieros?

    I miss mine - can't say that i would pay 10K for one though

    I liked the Pontiac Fiero but did see a couple burned out ones along the DC Beltway back in the early mid 80's.

    Now I thought the AMC/Renault Fuego was a truely ugly car!
