I decided to use the nail polish method on my 15-22 just on the fire/safe engavings to start. It looks good but the finish on the polymer frame seems to be dull compared to the rest. I bought a silicone cloth after reading it would help with not much improvement. Any ideas? I just got the gun a week ago! :sad20:

I sprayed the outside of my lower with Remington Rem oil after I filled mine and let it sit overnight . Looks back to normal , Not sure if that polymer lower soaks it in . But it looks perfect now, even after wiping of access.
