Anyone know where i can get a Colt wedge with the spring? All i can find online are for rifles with no spring.
I have tried Dixie, Cimarron, Midway, Track of wolf.

Last night, had it disassembled on kitchen counter soaking barrel and cylinder overnight after shooting, went to assemble this morning and no wedge to be found anywhere. Short version, i finally found it in disposal, cat must have knocked it down there. I want to get a couple spares.

Dang cats lol. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm out to lunch but my understanding is the wedge does not/should not be completely removed for normal cleaning. I never remove it completely. Just enough to allow the barrel to come off.

Thanks so much for finding it. I ordered the Traditions but realized its for rifles. I just wrote them with correction; hopefully it didn’t ship yet. I will call Monday first thing to verify.

Sounds good. I haven't ordered from Dixie for awhile until recently and they seem to take a couple/few days to ship so hopefully you caught them in time. Maybe call on Monday.

I blame you for re-igniting my desire to make smoke with your recent posts lol. It's been a while for me... Also, why are we up and posting at 3 AM....

ETA: Just saw you plan to call them on Monday.

Early riser and wife visiting daughter in Tampa so I can do what i want. Same reason I had gun stuff spread on kitchen counter. I got to remember to wash her kitchen towels, Kitchen smells like Hops #9.

    Thanks you John,
Currently i have an order (wrong wedge) with Dixie, so I wrote them to send the correct one. I will save this link for future. Can never have enough resources.
Edit: Wow, they have everything. I could probably build a whole pistol off their parts list (kidding, not cost effective) but they seems to have everything.

They're the importer for the parts.

I'm pretty sure I have em...but they'll probably require final fitting. I have tons of cap and ball parts, but almost all require fitting, and tempering for springs.
