Cost to add a lien to a MVA title?

When I got my car titled, I had to do it on a Saturday and used a private tag and title place. Well, they didn't add my lien to it so now I have to go to the MVA to do it. I can't find the exact fee on the MVA website, but I think it's $12? Does anyone know for sure? Do they take cash?

I'm hoping to get this done tomorrow, they're already given me the run-around last time I went there, and I don't wanna have to go back more than once for this...

Is your lender requiring it?

They can hit you with the lien fee ($20), a new title fee corrected ($50), require comp insurance coverage, and you might also get a FR-19 request.

They have already required comp, I'm simply trying to add the lien info to my title. If it's upwards of $20 i may have to wait till payday. was hoping to do it tomorrow.

if you requested the private company you used to do it, go back and have them make it right at their cost

Yeah, I would make the private tag & title place take care of this mess and pay for anything else that is required other than the lien fee if you would have had to pay that had they done it right the first time. No reason they should be compensated unless they are willing to make this right.
