So I'm looking for a deck guy. I'm not sure if I can get by with repairs, but I most likely need a whole new she-bang. So, does anyone have a reputable guy for decks? YEARS ago, the guy who painted our house (did an amazing job) turned to actually be a deck guy, but he's out of business.

    Bradford Renovations. Top notch contractor

Looking to get some indicative feedback on cost expectations from anyone who has recently built a deck off their 2nd story house.
We are looking to build a deck with the following properties:
    · Approx 45sqm
    · High set (~2.5m)
    · flyover roof
    · hardwood decking (merbau or similar)
    · ~14 stairs
    · Aluminium balustrade
    · Brisbane location (if that makes a difference)
I appreciate there are many factors, but just trying to get a +/- 20% indication of what to expect, or if there is a typical $ per/SqM rule we could apply. Excluding design, engineering and certification services.

Thank you all for any feedback you can provide
