WV State Senator Evan Jenkins, disillusioned with the current direction of the Democrat Party, has announced he will run for Congress as a Republican, in an effort to reverse the Obama Administration's energy policies (particularly the so-called "War on Coal").

Jenkins describes himself as a Conservative, and is eager to get to Washington.
