I was wondering where do people get the target stands for shooting at the Elk Neck Shooting Range? I tried finding some target stands online, but I couldn't find one that could hold paper targets and was at least 54 inches off the ground.
This is what I use. Can make it as tall as you want. Can likely find something cheaper or make something yourself, but I find it convenient, easy to transport and set up, and plenty sturdy.
I made this stand from an old piece of exercise equipment that my neighbor set out for the trash. The wire holder up top is from a political campaign lawn sign left over from the last election. Paper targets were courtesy of Gun Connection.

That works. I used the same setup but mine is totally pvc. It helps when the wind starts blowing down there. I would also suggest drilling a few holes in the bottom tubes and driving a few landscape nails through them while there. I carry a small hammer in my bag for this. My stand never moves.
