    Got a shotgun for Father's Day - Sears Ranger Model 30 aka Stevens 520 takedown. I had planned on cutting it down to 18.5" but I'll probably leave it as is for now. The 520 riot guns are really expensive.
    I really like the wood and the metal has lost blueing but it's not rusty or pitted like a lot are.

    Definately cool... I think that a gun that loses its blue like that gains a certain old timey character to it... My 1921 Winchester Model 94 looks right out of the Wild West...
