    CCW Permits

I received my Utah permit this past Friday. :party29: Shortly after taking this class I also applied for my Florida and Virginia CCW permits and received them as well. For those interested in how long it took, my results were consistent with what I've been reading in other threads. Virginia is by far the fastest, followed up by Florida and Utah bringing up the rear.

Virginia: Application mailed 01/31/11, Issue date on permit 03/01/11
Florida: Application mailed 01/31/11, Issue date on permit 03/11/11
Utah: Application mailed 01/24/11, Issue date on permit 3/17/11

Just signed up for the course in April in Waldorf...
I saw on the WVa website that non resident CCW's are not recognized? Am I right?
Correction, that was the carry concealed website.

Your good to go in West Virginia with a non-resident Utah Permit. WVA changed their law 2 years ago.

This type of information from non State websites gets people in trouble on a regular basis. I always recommend that law information only come from the State in question. There is no substitute.

    See you on the 17th

I also remember seeing it in writing somewhere on a state site. I'll dig it up and send it to you. I know where you live :D
