Are you familiar with the 999 sportsman revolver. I have one with the timing messed up. I would like to get this repaired. I have sent this with 3 gunsmiths and it has only returned scratched. It looks as if these are a PITA. If you are not familiar with these revolvers. Would you know of someone who is. Thankyou. Tom Merryweather. Salisbury Md. 443-366-4788

I have one, but never had a problem with it, aside from poor accuracy.

Sounds like the "gunsmiths" you sent it to were severely incompetent, honestly. Not sure if he works on guns that modern, but David Stavlo from Lodgewood Mfg works on all my high-end antique stuff that goes past my own ability; I won't let anyone else touch them.
