I meant to get over here a little while ago and post this, but I just wanted to say Congrats on making it to 500 members.

Last year I was checking out boards and trying to see how other people did it and after spending so much time on the big boards I realized that 90% of the other types of gun forums rarely make it past a few hundred members. Many of them were dead from the start because they really didn't serve much of a purpose.

I have a strong feeling the State specific gun groups are going to last and serve a purpose. You MD guys need this place as resource for organization and passing on the American tradition.

500 members IMHO means this place has a solid foundation and is going to move forward!

    Good luck and congrats !

The activity comes with time. Places like THR have 10 or 20 thousand users, but only a certain percentage is actually active.

But thanks for the congrats, Jamie. to us!

A 20% activity rate is probable what the better boards have.

They take time. I think most boards take 1 or 2 yrs to become self sustaining. Why do you think I give out FREE stickers? :D
