I'd like to thank the Marines at Marine Corps Base Quantico for hosting a little 3-gun match yesterday. They had set up 6 stages for a match they're hosting next week, where other Marines are going to participate in a Corps wide competition. We, the Quantico Practical Shooters, were invited to shoot the match along with members of the Marine Corps and their competition shooting team. Several reservists were also allowed to participate, with the non-team members shooting government issued equipment. This was more of a fun match, but scores were kept https://practiscore.com/results/13181 . The match ended with only 4 stages shot, as the required EMT had to leave at 1500. I put a bug in the ear of the Colonel running the match about hosting a monthly match, as it would promote his idea of improving CQB practice in the Marine Corps. All in all, it was great shooting with these men, and I'd appreciate the opportunity to do it again.
