    Anyone out there ever used one of these????? Seems like a good idea, but like a lot of "good ideas" maybe it's not????? Thanks in advance for any info.....M

    I was just researching the suspended tents you tie off up in the trees, situational awareness at night thinking a malicious critter can ambush me is real.

    I backpack a lot on the east coast. Never worry about anything with more than 2 legs. From a tent perspective, I just sling a hammock with a fly. If i'm somewhere with the skeeters, the bug net hangs on the same cord with the fly.

    If you're worried about 4-legged critters around here then you have food on you that should be strung up somewhere else.

    This just looks like extra complexity and weight.
