Not sure may be 15-30 seconds per round did not really time myself. It was the first time shooting it and was more concerned about accuracy than speed. How fast was that shot?

If you were using 115gn ammo, try 124gn next time. Was at the range testing the Kimber out at 9 yards. View attachment 394297 View attachment 394298
Excellent.25 rounds at 100 yards
I have some Berry's 124 gr HP on the way bought some cheap 115 gr ammo to shoot with as I did not have any reloading dies, cases and heads to load. I have everything except for the heads and on the way by USPS. Have some True Blue and N320 to load up some test roundsIf you were using 115gn ammo, try 124gn next time.
I was shooting standing without the benefit of a rest with the rifle at 100 yards as it is more realistic when hunting not bad for an old man. The 75-yard target was with the .500 pistol taking my time between rounds.Excellent.
Guy I used to shoot with about once a week always did prone shooting from as far back behind the concrete as he could get at Monocacy police pistol range, about 55 yds and could get head shots about that accurately. I couldn’t get anywhere close to that, but I still try from time to time.
It’s the kind of shooting that makes you wonder why it took so darned long for the police to take out those two shooters in Los Angeles (North Hollyweird shootout 1995). “fight like you train”.
You could hunt Elephant with that kind of accuracy and the right load.
4.0 VV320 and 124gn is a good load for 9mm. I use 4.1 with a cast 125gn.I have some Berry's 124 gr HP on the way bought some cheap 115 gr ammo to shoot with as I did not have any reloading dies, cases and heads to load. Thanks for the load info haven't done much with 9mm when I left the USCG in 95 they were using 40s. I have a K40 all SST in black and has been my carry since 2013. The Kimber is becoming my new favorite.4.0 VV320 and 124gn is a good load for 9mm. I use 4.1 with a cast 125gn.
Tru Blue is slower, similar to power pistol. I show a load of 5.6 with a 124gn Berry bullet.
