OK, based on advice here, I bought a Lee Value Turret Press.

When I try to prime on the press, the primer arm is not coming up far enough to set the primer. This happens with both large and small primer arms. (The Lee rep asked.)

    Any idea what is wrong?

Did you make sure that the ram is bottoming all the way down on the upstroke? Where is your handle set to?

Andy at Lee customer support indicated that the connector plate was installed upside down. Factory bubbas.

I haven't changed it, but the handle wasn't moving all the way up.

Glad the Lee people could see right from wrong.

How is a new owner supposed to magically by ESP know that the assembler did his job right?
Did Lee offer to send you a properly built unit in exchange for that one?

Remove two screws, turn the plate? I got this.

Unless I don't. I'll try it tomorrow or Sunday. This Senor Chile's margarita says not tonight.

I recently replaced my old Lee primer dispensers with a new set and have been very pleased with their performance. A slight re-design but they now feed perfectly and I no longer need to add a few extra primers to complete a batch of 100.
