I have purchased several kits. I have been building AR's for several years and thought AK's would not be much different. Who can I get to assemble one or two of these kits for me?

    In-state choices:
    1. Midcounty Gun Shop
    2. Glade Valley Sporting Goods

Out-of-state choices: too many to list, but InRange and Iron Curtain Creations come to mind immediately. I used TennGalil / Hillbilly Firearms for a Galil build, but he's expensive.

Just a friendly OPSEC reminder from a fellow Airman. :)

My .02, AKs are a whole different beast to build than ARs. ARs are tinkertoys. AKs require a little more mechanical skill and a lot more jigs/equipment.

If you have a nice barrel-matching kit (especially if it's numbers-matching) then pay someone else to build it on a recognized receiver. If you want to learn, then it's a lot of fun... but it's hard to equal arsenal-built quality doing basement builds.
