I got the Simmons Truplex .22 Mag Riflescope (3-9X32, Matte) and it came with rings but they don't fit so I went to local gun store and bought the low version and they are too low for the scope to clear the MOE folding sights. I was looking at the UTG Max Strength LE Grade Quick Detach Picatinny Scope Rings (2 Piece, 1-Inch Diam, 4-Screw Med Profile) on amazon but wondering if I need the "high" ones?! Please help before I order!:innocent0

If you're dead set on going cheap, I would skip a qd system. There's a reason good qd rings cost more IMO. No idea what height you should get.

Something designed for an ar. If u want to go cheap, you can get see-through rings to put the scope up high enough. You could also get one of the cheap risers, but dont expect it to be very solid.

Check out primary arms. Their house branded stuff is pretty inexpensive and is made for AR's.
