Was down in Atlanta for the Bladeshow, and got this fellow done to take with me for fun. Forged all from one piece, no weld, no cuts, not cut out from plate. Forged from one piece of flat bar. pictured with the now well worn original, and some in process shots.

I do make them for sale/trade and for pleasure. There are many hawks out there none made like mine.

Those are very nice. It's good to see a guy doing it the old fashion way with a hammer and forge. It's becoming a lost art. You should be proud that you made these by hand.

How much are you asking for them out of curiosity? I just got a hand-forged one in the mail today that I ordered several months ago, so sweet.

No, just the head is forged, wooden handle, hickory I think.

Fort Turner is the name of the place, I will post up some pics tonight if I can, she is a beaut.
