Welcome! Because you said you are new to firearms, I am going to remind you to learn and commit the basic rules of firearm safety to memory:

-Treat every firearm as if it is loaded
-Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot
-Know your target and what is behind it
-Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy
