I came across this in another forum. http://www.sportsmansoutdoorsuperstore.com/category.cfm/sportsman/hot-deals They have both the Ruger SR9 and the Springfield XD 9mm Essentials Pkg for 30% off ($380+$21 shipping). This seems a good price. I'm leaning toward the SR9 right now. Anyone have any experience with sportsmanoutdoorsuperstore? I have never purchased a gun from the internet and I have only heard of buds ands cheaperthandirt.

Never bought from this vendor. Don't be surprised if they don't ship to MD. I think you will get 10 opinions favoring the XD for every one that favors the Ruger.

I own both and find I use the XD 9 over the Ruger.

When you add in the transfer fee's it would make more sense to by local. And i prefer the xd. I have a compact in .40 i love it
