I recently received an order of primers, nothing unusual about the packaging (it could have been padded better but boxes were undamaged) and the only thing unusual was that the primers were in a mylar anti-stat bag like computer parts come in. Is this normal?

What brand? I’ve never seen that before. Was it the whole outer box? Maybe that’s the way the shipper decided to prevent them from potentially spilling everywhere?

I'd say it was the vendor's packaging, possibly shipper (FedEx) dictated?
I got 5 1K boxes of CCI Small Pistol, they were taped together with clear packaging tape. Then sealed in a motherboard sized anti-stat bag. That was all placed an another plane box, some air space around it (ie no packing) and HAZMAT docs on the outside.

Looks like they boosted the price after my order. ;)
