I bet I had them a year plus.NOS or recently purchased? I'm curious if the Rem Bankruptcy was a demarcation between primer consistency ?
I should go and look at the lot number and record it for quick reference but became involved in other matters.
They are new, undisturbed packaging etc.
I seated them with my Lyman press mounted seating tool.
I only spill as much primers as I'm going to load on a rubber mat by opening the packet envelope as much for what I need, prepared cleaned the pockets etc.
I'm skeptical of anything I purchase here as of late, regardless of what it is but it very well could have been something I did but I doubt it,
Primers are always the first component I manage when assembling cartridges becuase they're explosive and very dangerous when handled improperly.
Could be some at the edge of the cake tray didn't dry correctly or something.
Maybe Ill never see another again for some time who knows.
Could even be nothing to do with the compounding pellet at all and just a problem with the anvil or foil for all I know.
