Any residents/landowners have the opportunity to take the survey?

I thought the how much did you spend part was different than most DNR surveys I participated in the past.

Antler point restrictions is what they're after is my take.
Maybe they're trying to figure out the more they get hunted unsuccessfully, the further they spread out.

Night hunting ops? Should be if you ask me.
Especially if they jack up license fees and implement 3 or more on one side like some of the questions were trending towards. (my take)

What did you think of it?

Curious, how are sika viewed there? By people? By dnr?

    Valid game animal?
    Non-native acceptable species?
    Non-native invasive species?
Desired? (Looks like from your post)

Just curious if they want to expand the herd more, limit or remove.

From your post it does sound like desired/keep/grow, but I am not familiar with sika and the plan.

Non Native invasive-acceptable species. Valued-Desired by the hunting community, maybe not by the farming community to the same extent.
I'm not familiar with the plan either, mostly the "why" in regard to the questioning surrounding economic impact/dollars spent.

They have become wildly popular to hunt say in the last 5 years or so.
Meat eater guy and some female archery personality did a bit on them and the a rush of people to hunt them all of the sudden.
I suspect lack of successful hunting and hunter bag tally may be behind some of the reasoning for the questions.
They're pretty elusive when they become pressured but both do and do not, share some of the same characteristics of WT deer.
