    I doubt I would hold any company to their estimated date these days due to flunctuating supplies. Especially if it is made outside the US. They are at the mercy of their suppliers right now. And shipping dates for current orders will be affected if available quantities change from what they normally get.

    I have 1200 rounds of .223 backordered through sportsmansguide. It was expected to ship 1/14...........found out 1/5 it is no pushed to 6/18. Talk about ticked off.

    Considering my local WM (Hagerstown) sold 2 years worth of warehouse ammo inventory in just 2 weeks, anybody who thinks that an online retailer's listed EDT will be valid by the time you order gets into the system is living in a fantasy world.
    If they normally sell 500 pallets/month and in one month people order 3000 pallets what do you think the delivery time will be for the ones who order late? And with their suppliers under pressure for other retailers? 3000/500= 6 months. Check SPG and you will see the EDT changes farther away almost every week. I know some are now showing 10/2013.
    I kick myself every day for not buying some of those 820 rd ammo cans of PMC Bronze they had in their catalogs. I feel lucky that I was already stockpiling 100 rd boxes of Fed Value packs from WM so that while I got the last 3 the day of the shootings (none have shown since) at least I have managed to scrounge sources to get enough to shoot 3-gun this year, even if I don't get anymore.

    OK, let's realize what this ammo and gun shortage is REALLY caused by;

    This sudden onslaught of shootings, followed by gov't intervention on both a state and national level is one part of a conspiracy to eventually rule the world through an authoritarian world government—which replaces sovereign nation-states—utilizing an all-encompassing propaganda that ideolizes its establishment as the culmination of history's progress.

    Freemasons, Illuminati and the Jews being the driving force behind an international progressive conspiracy fought intensely on the right by the John Birch Society. This progressive conspiracy is being financed by Wall Street, the Federal Reserve System, Council on Foreign Relations, The Bilderberg Group and The Trilateral Commission, who control the flow of events from behind the scenes, nudging us constantly and covertly in the direction of world government for the AntiChrist.

    The Neo-Luddites are likely involved in there somewhere.

    OR

    it could just be the confluence of some random events, the President's/Liberals political agenda, and the mass panic buying resulting from all the hype and over-reaction............:lol2:

    Eh, SPG is still showing my 9mm backorder as coming on 2/6. I also had one incident where they shipped me some 5.45x39 months sooner than they claimed they would.

    Just got an email yesterday that SPG shipped my backordered 20 rnd SKS mags. They were originally not expected till 2/23. Some others are still on backorder but the black 20's have been shipped at the reg price ($16.19 ea).

    Be patient. Sportsman Guide isn't going to sell their soul for a quick buck during some panic buying.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed that. They've been really holding the line on pricing where everyone else isn't. Mind you, they've got other products than ammo to diversify risk, but I like their style.
