Some of you may remember the thread about my wife's nephew who passed away from complications from diabetes back in June.

His wife is now one her own with three their three kids. And she is interested in getting a handgun for home defense.

Her in-laws shoot. But they are far from up on the latest firearm requirements.

She's going to need to get her PFs and background check, and take the class. Then I'd like to be able to suggest a good local gun shop where she can get help picking out a handgun.

    Suggestions guys????

Larry's Trading Post in West OC. It is in the strip shopping center on 611 across from the Food Lion. Friendly folks. Was in there in December and he had a fair amount of handguns in the case, both new and used at fairly reasonable prices.

    Thanks.

Do either of them offer (or are able to direct her to) an HQL class?

Also, where would she go down there for FPs and BC?

Ditto on Bob Arthur's place. He's also on FB. For the closest fingerprints at • Morpho Trust USA/ABCO Investigations (APPOINTMENT REQUIRED) 10545 Friendship Road Berlin, MD
Ph: 877-467-9215. The fingerprints are sent to CJIS and she will get a copy of her "results" (background check) in the mail. Not sure if Bob offers the HQL class.

I think there is someone on the forum in Salisbury offering free HQL classes.

Larry's is high as hell. Close to the Pines and won't F her in order:
    1) Littleton's Firearms
    2) Bob Aurthur's Shooters Supply
    3) Manchesters

HQL for free on Feb 1st posted above.
