That's what I'm trying to do remove the barrel nuts with the gas block in place.Just remove the gas tube at the gas block and loosen the barrel nut?
I don't know what kind of barrel nut your upper has. Does it have a free floating forend? Does the gas tube go through the barrel nut and clock with it? An optical example would help. It would also be much easier if you removed the gas tube, either way. Do you have a roll pin punch set? That's what I'm trying to do remove the barrel nuts with the gas block in place.

I do not have a roll pin set and even if I did I don't trust myself ******* with the gas tube/block.I don't know what kind of barrel nut your upper has. Does it have a free floating forend? Thank you I'm in Montgomery countyWhere are you? (Hint: put a vague/rough location in your profile)
I have several of those AP wrenches. One comes w/ every upper.
Yes, you can remove the nut, take the whole assembled barrel/gas block/gas tube off and swap to another enhanced upper.
Me tooMissed that it was the "enhanced" upper until you posted pic. Don't have to remove gas tube on this one.
