Anyone here have any experience with the Talley one piece scope mounting base, and rings? Im looking to scope a handgun (an Encore), in a rifle caliber, and thinking a 1 piece set up may be the way to go.

How do these mounts hold up to heavy recoil ? Do they slip a scope, or bite them good? Any other good mounting system for the Encore to look at ?

This is the mount I am looking at :

If you want single piece, take a look at Dead Nutz products. I have used them on two rifles and never had any issues... but I really didn't abuse either mount since the rifles were in .308 and .30-06.
