The Wife and I Hit The Range Tonight

After Carolyn got home from work, and before we had dinner, we snuck off to the range for a little fun. Carolyn had not had a chance to shoot the Model 27 yet. The weather is perfect down here tonight and there were no mosquitos!

We got to the range about five o'clock. There was a training class from the Pitt County (NC) Sheriff's Department in the club house, but they assured us we'd be okay on the range and wouldn't be bothering them.

Had a great time. Worked on my accuracy a bit.....I'm greatly improved. Carolyn liked the the Model 27. She did really well with my .38 Special loads, but it seems that my .357 Magnum loads were a little hot for her.

Normally, we take a walk in the evening. We figured we do something a little different tonight.

Nice! My wife isn't into wheel guns, she prefers her two SR9s. I'm still trying to get her to put her paperwork in for her concealed carry permit. She took the class last year.

If I had an hour with the two of you, I'm pretty sure based on these pics I could help you both shoot a little better and with a lot more mobility and confidence. I see no reason either of you couldn't easily handle a .357 with a little better grip and stance.

I was doing pretty well when I wasn't over thinking it. I'd start off with a dynamic shot.....they do all I could to duplicate it.....no go. Once I cleared my mind and "just shot", all was well.

The center and "bullseye" targets were usually the first three, and the second three went elsewhere.
