Well folks, it is the time of the year that Talbot County School kids gets Thursday and Friday off so that the Easton schools can be turned into venues for the Waterfowl Festival. If any of you wonderful people are joining us here for the festivities, I would like to remind you that our own 2ndCharter has a fantastic restaurant, "The Bagery" in Easton.
Another shameless plug:
On Saturday, November 11 at 2pm, the Midshore Commnity Band is playing a concert in Thompson Park (downtown near the courthouse, right by the pit beef!). Two of my daghters and I play in this band. Stop and say hello. I will be in the back row with a MDS patch on my hat. It will be Veterans' Day and among other things, we will be playing a medley of the military service songs. Please stop by and recognize and be recognized for military service.
