I made the 50 minute drive to Tim's shop this morning. Inside, I found about a dozen customers engaged in friendly conversation. I picked up two lowers and Tim helped me with the sale and paperwork. Total time on the paperwork counter was a little more than 10 minutes. A handshake and a smile later, I was on my way.

These were my second/third purchases from Tim. The first was a special order that he handled quickly and efficiently. I can't say enough good about this shop.

And yes, there were some lowers (DPMS and Stag) this afternoon. Now MSP gets to do their part.

    Everyone knows Tim.

He is the most interesting man in the world.

    He lives vicariously through himself.

He once had an awkward moment, just to see how it feels.

His trigger finger alone has experienced more than a lesser man’s entire body.

When it is raining, it is because he is thinking of something sad.

    He is left-handed and right-handed.

If he were to mail a letter without postage, it would still get there.

The police often question him just because they find him interesting.

In museums, he is allowed to touch the art.

His business card simply says “I’ll call you.”

He has won the lifetime achievement award, twice.

    His passport requires no photograph.

When he shoots an unfired gun, it increases in value.

MSP stamps his forms NOT DISAPPROVED, SIR.

By now you must have realized you are in the Hafer's Gunsmithing Forum.

Also, triggers and feedramps polish themselves in his presence. And I've heard that Colt employs a few Hafer's certified armorers too...
