I bought some Win. 7.62X39 brass and it appears to use large rifle primers. I also purchased some Remington UMC 7.62X39 ammo and it appears to have small rifle primers.
My question is, what is the prevalent size primer found in 7.62x39 boxer-primed brass?
I don't want to work up loads for two different primers so I'd like to settle on one or the other. I read somewhere that Remington was going to stop or has stopped making 7.62X39 ammo so that might be that.
Does anyone know what primers Federal and S&B use? Those seem to be the other choices.
