    Question:

What are the details wrt to the new law for mags that are legal now ... but not then?

I have asked several gun shops in the area who sell 20 rounds mags ... I cant get a straight answer. "I think ... you should be ..." etc. etc. ... but no one seems to be sure of the answer.

If I have a 20 round mag for a weapon today ... can I take that 20 rounder to the range in mid-October without issue? Can I load 20 rounds into the mag or do I have to only load 10? Do I have to have proof that I purchased the 20 round mag before the ban?

I want to be legal ... and I'm not looking to give LEO a reason to come and "inspect" my arsenal.

The only thing that changed with the magazine part of the law is. Now it's 10 rounds instead of 20. You can still go to neighboring states and bring home all the 30, 40, 60, 100 and 150 round mags you want.
