I was bidding on a few Winchester Model 12s, but lost, however I picked up this overlooked Winchester 25. Similar to a 12, just not a takedown model. I guess I made out. Doing some online reading, they made I guess 2 million Model 12s, but only 88,000 Model 25s, so a less common gun. Very nice, just different from all others I have, as it has a solid thud when cycling, no clackity clack. The front bead is really tiny, and hard to see, and I need to figure out how to remove the magazine plug without f'ing it up.

How is it different than my Model 12 Featherweight which has sort of a screw off barrel? Same but not aluminum receiver?
