I wonder how many of the Yes votes are violent criminals who don't want to see the handgun ban lifted :)

Assuming those same criminals can both read and operate a computer
    ;)

You'd think that these media types would start to realize that everytime they run one of these polls it comes down on our side.

    Greetings from Ricardo Royal

    Hello,
As a result of the work of some of my 2A partners in making a differance I learned of this group. Even though I know of other similar groups I decided to join this one. I see my good friend Cliff has got the point and I am sure he would keep me up to speed with this group as with others.

Some times I am very busy trying to stay on top of things in DC and Maryland. Thank God for VCDL they make VA easy. Most importantly I like to have fun! I have fun by enjoying the Shooting and Fishing sports most often when I am sharing the experience with some one that has never done it before.

The DC Law will be dramaticly changed with in 2 congressional sessions. It could be this session! So lets have some fun and make history, my 2 favorite things.

    Ricardo

    Ricardo,

Welcome aboard....I had hoped that you would show up here eventually.

For those that don't know Cliff and Ricardo and their work with CAFE, you need to become familiar with all of the time and effort that they have put into this group and 2nd Amendment issues in general in Maryland.

Check them out at the next gun show (Upper Marlboro, I think)

    Hey Ricardo! Welcome!

I too hope the DC law will be somewhat neutralized this year. If you have any suggestions on how to help (other than writing Congresscritters - already done that!), let me know.

Hope to see you again soon.

Well, although completely unscientific, I'd say this poll got the point across! Too bad it probably doesn't mean a damn thing to the policy makers.

Do you think the District's gun ban law should remain in place?
    Yes 317 6%
    No 5172 94%

You will only listen to what you want to listen to. You have to make Antigunners listen and therin lies the rub. Antigunners know how to get their vote and antigun sells big in this area. Just ask our Lt Gov Kennedy, she ran on that ticket for governor and lost to the republican.
The public needs to believe in effective and proactive politics not inaffective and reactive politics but sadly politicians always sell the masses.
